- The Conference site is the Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County located at 100 The City Drive, Orange, California, 92868. Nearby points of interest include Disneyland Park, the Crystal Cathedral, Angel Stadium (home of the Angels baseball team) and Knott's Berry Farm. - The Doubletree Hotel, site of this year's conference, is conveniently located in the heart of Orange County and close to metro areas and world famous tourist attractions. - The Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County is about 15 miles or 20 minutes from Orange County's John Wayne Airport; 33 miles from Ontario Airport; and 45 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport. These three airports are serviced by all major airlines.
- A block of rooms have been reserved at the Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County located at 100 The City Drive, Orange, California, 92868. Room charges are based on the approved State rate of $84 for single/double occupancy. Rates are exclusive of applicable state/local taxes which are currently at 10%. Please call the Hotel Reservation Desk toll free at 1-800-488-9031 or at 916-634-4500 when making room reservations. Specify the California SIDS Program SIDS Conference for the special room rate. Hotel reservations at these discounted rates will be accepted through 5pm Sunday September 12, 2010. Reservations made after this date will be accepted based on availability.
- For registrants booking hotel reservations which are reimbursed by their agency or the California Department of Public Health please be advised that the reimbursable rate is $84 for single/double occupancy exclusive of applicable taxes and assessment fees. Check with your funding agency regarding allowable reimbursement and hotel lodging polices.
- The Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County has extended the special conference room rate beginning Friday, October 1st through Thursday October 7th based on room and rate availability. For further information contact the Hotel Reservations Desk at 1-800-488-9031.
- All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Individuals sharing rooms may request separate billings when making reservations and upon check-in.
- Discounted parking rates for hotel guests and conference attendees are $6.00 per day for self parking and $15.00 for valet, which includes in and out privileges.

- The hotel does not provide shuttle service to/from the airport. Conference participants arriving at John Wayne Orange County airport can access a variety of transportation options to the hotel/conference venue including rental cars, taxis and shuttle services.
- Guests can use the shuttle service available through Super Shuttle to/from the airport. Reservations can be booked by calling 1-800-258-3826 or on line at www.supershuttle.com . The cost to/from the airport is about $10 per person one way. Exclusive van group rates are available at $77 one way for up to nine (9) persons. Roundtrip services are suggested when booking your reservation to ensure requested pick up times.
- Guests using Super Shuttle services at Orange County airport upon arrival should proceed to the Transportation Center across the street to the island marked Van Shuttle Service. Contact the Guest Services Representative dressed in a blue Super Shuttle uniform and they will assist you with your transportation needs.
- Taxi services are also available from Yellow Cab to/from the airport for about $24 one way. The Yellow Cab number is 1-877-Yellow Cab (935-5692). We encourage you to share a cab with colleagues, family or friends to reduce the cost. Car rentals are also available at the airport. To obtain local bus schedules and fares please call 714-636-RIDE (7433).
- The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) operates local buses, ground transportation to/from John Wayne Airport and linkages to other metro travel options such as trains. - Complimentary shuttle service is provided to/from the Doubletree Hotel to Disneyland Park every hour on the hour in accordance with the park's opening/closing hours of operation. Hotel guests can make arrangements with the hotel concierge for individual transportation requests.

- To reach the Conference site from within California, follow the driving directions listed below.
- From The North ~ Take the Interstate 5 Freeway South. Exit The City Drive and turn Right (South). The Doubletree is on the southwest corner of Chapman and The City Drive.
- From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) ~ Take the Interstate 405 Freeway South (toward San Diego) to the 22 Freeway East (toward Garden Grove). Exit The City Drive. Make a Left (North). The Doubletree is on the Southwest corner of Chapman and The City Drive.
- From The South ~ Take the Interstate 5 Freeway North. Exit Chapman. Make a Left (West). The Doubletree is on the Southwest corner of Chapman and The City Drive.
- From The East ~ Take the 91 Freeway West to the 57 Freeway South. Exit Chapman and make a Right (West). The Doubletree is on the Southwest corner of Chapman and The City Drive.
- From John Wayne/Orange County Airport ~ Take the Interstate 405 Freeway North (toward Long Beach) to the 55 Freeway North (toward Riverside) to the 5 Freeway North. Exit Chapman. Turn Left (North). The Doubletree is on the Southwest corner of Chapman and The City Drive.

Parking

- On site parking is available at the Doubletree Hotel. Discounted parking rates for hotel guests and conference attendees are $6.00 per day for self parking and $15.00 for valet, which includes in and out privileges.
- Attendees not staying at the hotel may also park in the adjacent The Block shopping center and walk to the hotel. Parking in this area is complimentary.
